Attractions in the area
The Palm House constitutes one of the most recognizable attractions of the city. Many exotic species of plants may be encountered there – including, among others, Phoenix canariensis. It also performs the function of a viewing point – at the height of 18 meters one may find a footbridge from which a view of the city may be admired. The building also houses a cafe and a restaurant.
